Heating and Cooling Equipment Policies

Fully Loaded Hitting, LLC may use heating, cooling, ventilation, and related equipment to help maintain a safe and comfortable training environment throughout the year.

Heating and cooling equipment can present risks including burns, electrical hazards, tripping, entanglement, impact, or other injury if touched, moved, adjusted, or used improperly. These Heating and Cooling Equipment Policies apply to all participants, parents, guardians, guests, and other visitors to the facility.

1. General Safety Requirements

All heating, cooling, ventilation, and related equipment is intended for operation by Fully Loaded Hitting, LLC staff or other authorized personnel only.

Participants, parents, guardians, and guests must not:

Touch, move, adjust, operate, unplug, disconnect, or otherwise interfere with equipment
Touch or interfere with cords, plugs, controls, outlets, or other components associated with equipment
Place personal belongings, training equipment, clothing, or other objects on or against equipment
Enter or remain in an area that Fully Loaded Hitting, LLC staff have restricted because of equipment or another safety concern

A safe distance must be maintained from operating equipment at all times.

2. Heating Equipment

Heating equipment may be used during colder weather and can become extremely hot.

Contact with heating equipment may result in burns or other serious injury. Participants, parents, guardians, and guests must not touch, move, operate, or stand unnecessarily close to heating equipment.

Nothing may be placed on, against, or immediately around heating equipment.

Children must be appropriately supervised around heating equipment at all times.

3. Cooling and Ventilation Equipment

Air-conditioning units, fans, and other cooling or ventilation equipment may be used during warmer weather or as otherwise needed.

Equipment may be mounted, freestanding, connected to electrical outlets, or located near training or viewing areas.

Participants, parents, guardians, and guests must not touch, adjust, move, unplug, obstruct, or otherwise interfere with cooling or ventilation equipment, including blades, guards, cords, plugs, controls, and related components.

4. Parent and Guardian Responsibility

Parents and legal guardians are responsible for ensuring that minor participants and any children or guests under their supervision comply with these Heating and Cooling Equipment Policies and maintain an appropriate distance from heating, cooling, ventilation, and related equipment.

Children must not be permitted to play with, climb on, sit on, lean against, or otherwise interact with such equipment.

5. Reporting Safety Concerns

Any damaged, unstable, malfunctioning, unusually hot, disconnected, exposed, or otherwise potentially unsafe equipment or condition should be reported to Fully Loaded Hitting, LLC staff immediately.

Participants, parents, guardians, and guests should not attempt to inspect, repair, reposition, reconnect, or otherwise correct an equipment-related safety concern themselves.

If an individual believes an area or piece of equipment is unsafe, the individual should avoid the affected area and immediately notify Fully Loaded Hitting, LLC staff.

6. Compliance and Enforcement

All participants, parents, guardians, and guests are required to follow these Heating and Cooling Equipment Policies and any additional safety instructions provided by Fully Loaded Hitting, LLC staff.

Fully Loaded Hitting, LLC reserves the right to restrict access to equipment or affected areas and may require an individual to discontinue unsafe conduct, move away from equipment, or leave an affected area or the facility when reasonably necessary to protect the safety of participants, staff, guests, or property.

Failure to follow these Heating and Cooling Equipment Policies may result in injury, property damage, suspension or termination of participation, or removal from the affected area or facility.

7. Relationship to Participation Agreement

These Heating and Cooling Equipment Policies supplement, and do not replace or modify, any applicable Participation Agreement, waiver, release, or other agreement with Fully Loaded Hitting, LLC.

Participants remain subject to all applicable terms, responsibilities, acknowledgments, assumptions of risk, releases, and other provisions contained in separately executed agreements with Fully Loaded Hitting, LLC.

8. Acknowledgment

By entering the facility or participating in any service, lesson, program, camp, clinic, activity, or other offering provided by Fully Loaded Hitting, LLC, participants, parents, guardians, and guests acknowledge these Heating and Cooling Equipment Policies and agree to comply with applicable safety requirements and staff instructions.
